The REVIEW OF ECONOMIC STUDIES MAY MEETINGS

The Review of Economic Studies May Meetings, also known as RES Tour, have been held annually in May since 1989. Every year, in line with the Review’s tradition of encouraging the work of young economists, seven of the most promising graduating doctoral students in economics and finance in the world are selected to present their research to academic audiences in Europe. The meetings take place in three or four of the major universities across Europe. Standard seminar presentations are given to faculty and students invited by the local hosts, who include members of the journal’s editorial board. In 2012 (the 24th meeting) the tour will visit these host institutions:

• May 10-11  Mannheim University
• May 14-15  University of Leicester
• May 17-18 IGIER and the Department of Economics, Università Bocconi
